With a 30+ year career that spans record stores to radio stations, nightclubs to recording studios, magazines to record labels, Jeremy lives for music: buying it, selling it, making it, breaking it, playing it, broadcasting it, curating it, compiling it, promoting it and more!
From 1988 Jeremy has been a trusted music supplier to the world from record shops in London’s Soho, including Catch A Groove, Release The Groove, Red Records, Reckless and Soul II Soul. Behind the scenes Jeremy has helped shape the growth of the dance music scene, ensuring the soulful side of underground dance music would be heard by DJs, A&R and music fans alike.
After making his first DJ appearances in nightclubs from 1988, Jeremy was invited by Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson and Jean Claude to join them as a resident at The Limelight in 1989. From there Jeremy would go on to be a regular at Ministry Of Sound, Garage City, and other key music clubs and parties around the world. In the late ’90s, Paul ‘Trouble’ Anderson would once again enlist him as a resident at The Loft, as well as a backup DJ for his Advanced Dance mix show on Kiss FM.
Jeremy has produced music for and with François K, Robert Owens, Barbara Tucker, Ron Trent, Frankie Valentine, DJ Romain, Simbad, and more, with releases on Wave Music, BBE and Soundmen On Wax among others.
As an obsessive collector of quality music, Jeremy has amassed the worlds largest known Salsoul Records collection and has worked on many projects for Salsoul Records, releasing dozens of compilations and other projects for the label. Another passion project for Jeremy is his collection of Black Gospel from the 1960s through to the present day. In short, Jeremy wears many hats and has multiple soulful strings to his bow.
As a Mi-House presenter, expect Jeremy to select the very finest house from the birth of the genre through to the jams of the future!
