Joe is an avid music lover. Up until July 2015 his idea of being a DJ was only a dream. Never in a million years did he expect his dream to become a reality. Joe spends his spare time listening to and buying music. During the Suncebeat festival in Croatia in 2015 Mi-Soul Radio’s Ronnie Herel interviewed Joe live on air and gave him a challenge to put together a mix for the Mi-Drive show. Joe invested in all the necessary equipment and being a perfectionist spent hours to ensure the tracks blended and were seamless. During this time Ronnie became his mentor, educating Joe on the art of mixing. This went on to a regular DJ slot with Mi-Soul Radio’s Lil Stevie who has also been a great help to Joe.
Joe has also played on the terrace with Mi-Soul Radio at Ibiza Rocks Hotel, the Mi-Soul Brighton all Dayer and Stretch Taylor’s Ghetto Heaven weekender in Great Yarmouth. In addition, he made his debut at venue 360 in Luton last summer. He has also been booked this summer for the Kavos soul and reggae week.
Joe says, “I am so excited to now be offered the chance to share my Usual Suspects show on Mi-House radio”.
