Stuart Patterson
Stuart’s career as a house DJ started building in the late 90’s when he launched Soulsonic at West London’s Subertania venue. The night featured the cream of UK and US house DJs and led Stuart compiling a Soulsonic compilation on now world renowned record label BBE. The compilation was warmly received and helped Stuart’s profile rise quickly, and he was soon DJ of the month in both The Face and I-D Magazines.
This led to the extensive UK and Worldwide DJ career throughout the noughties plus regular sets at London’s Fabric, The End, Ministry Of Sound, Egg and Turnmills.
UK wise Stuart was often found behind the decks at some of the nation’s finest clubs including The Bomb in Nottingham, Basics in Leeds, Slam in Glasgow and Ultragroove in Edinburgh. Worldwide there was a residency in Barcelona plus gigs in every continent and regular appearances in Italy, Ibiza, New York, Thailand, Germany, Miami, Greece, Russia, Turkey and Norway. Stuart played Croatia’s first ever festival (The Garden Festival) in 2007 and played there every year until its finale ten years later.
More recently Stuart was resident and programmed the famous East Village club in Shoreditch. Followed by a residency at the large ‘DATE’ events at West London’s Loft Studios which featured the cream of foundation house music DJs, including Kerri Chandler, Timmy Regisford, Danny Krivit, Spen + Karizma and one of the last ever set from the late, great Frankie Knuckles.
Stuart’s love of house has not diminished, and he will be launching a new London residency alongside his monthly mi-house radio show and more releases to come on his rebooted Transfusion record label.
