Tee Smith
Tee Smith’s musical journey began in the spring of 1987 working in
nightclubs in the South East of England. He met his co-host and friend,
Gareth Cooke, when they bumped into each other in a chance meeting in
the Medway towns in 1989.
This began a friendship spanning 3 decades and
a good sprinkling of working in various clubs together.
Tee predominantly played for Ministry of Sound in London on a monthly
basis from 1993 until 2004 as a tour resident for them in Europe and
beyond. Over the last 30 years, Tee has played in over 20 countries,
alongside Dj’s such as Louie Vega, Roger Sanchez, Kenny Carpenter, Terry
Hunter… the list goes one… and had the pleasure of working for
international brands, promoters and nightclubs and events in this time too.
Tee also has produced house tracks with releases featured on Ministry of
Sound Clubbers Guide and Annual compilations as well as his own
Soundzreal Trax label.
Currently enjoying co-hosting The Rulin’ Show with Gareth Cooke on
Mi-House Radio, every Monday 9pm -11pm GMT.
