The Ministry of Sound turns 37
The Ministry of Sound turned 37 this past September. It began in September 1991 in South London; they wanted to copy the cavernous venues from the New York City club scene. With a huge space but no alcohol served and only a handful of lights, they started what is now an institution. But what they did have in abundance was a passion for House music and a drive to bring together House music lovers. So, 37 years ago, it all began. And now, all these years later, Ministry of Sound thrives.
